Well, we quit the late Sunday night gigs at Warung Bali. The place was sold to new owners, and they foolishly offered us a 50% pay cut. That, plus their rather bad attitude towards us, meant we had no real choice but to quit. So we were replaced on Sunday nights there with another band, who played for the first time last night during our regular spot, trying to capitalise on the crowds coming to see us. A lot of my friends have already told me that there was no comparison and they left early.

One addage that comes to mind is "imitation is the highest form of flattery".

It doesn't really matter anyway - we're not overly concerned. The JukeBox Heroes are handing in their notice and jumping off this rock. It still looks like the capital of the Czech Republic is our destination of choice. So we're telling the venues we play at to expect us to be leaving within the next 3-4 weeks. Last week while playing it kind've all hit me how ready I am to leave, how now it's just become same-old same-old. But I'll miss this place and the lifestyle it offered me. No doubt.

It's kind've strange, that it's all coming to an end. And for what, I'm not yet sure, but I'm curious. I like a challenge.
