Winter has arrived in Estonia. It's 0-degrees outside and the first signs of snow line the sidewalks and coat car bumpers.
And did I mention that it's 0-degrees outside?
On Monday Krista is flying to Denmark, to begin work on the farm that her sister works on. And on the following Friday the 4th of November (my birthday), I'm bussing overnight to Riga, Latvia, to catch the 6:30am flight to Istanbul. I'm going to begin my overland adventure of the middle East - Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Israel and Egypt.
It's going to be a sad day on Monday.
The first snow of the season fell on Tuesday night... this is what we woke to on Wednesday morning.
I haven't seen snow for maybe 5 years!
Krista's Dad Raivo, myself, and Tiit, after another of our vodka-filled sauna evenings.
(I think Tiit had begun before we arrived, hence the face!
He usually starts trying to communicate with me in Russian at this point)
