Yay, London tomorrow! I'm really looking forward to that. It means I have to train back to France again, but that's okay. Another opportunity to see the countryside. Plus I get to go through the 'Chunnel'. In the meantime, here's a few more shots of Utrecht, Holland. This is a very pretty and lively little student city (pop. 236,000), and I'd recommend it to anybody considering studying abroad. And considering it's the number 22 most densely populated country in the world (16 million people in a country one-fifth the size of NZ, which is ranked 185th) it's not as noticeable as you'd think. Except, the cafes and bars are always busy!

I'm gonna go back into Amsterdam (pop. 731,000) this afternoon, to see it again for the last time. I'd like to check out the house of Anne Frank too...

The quintessential bridge over a canal. This is a fairly typical scene.

The weather yesterday hit about 30 degrees, and it brought hordes of people out to dine along the edges of the canals.

The Albert Heijn chain of supermarkets are dotted around the cities just like MacDonald's.
And always, always, there are bikes everywhere.

An odd-looking quartet playing in Dam Square in Amsterdam. They were really good!

Some wall art around the corner from where I'm staying. I really dig it.
